A cut invalidates the geometry a room was being measured in. The pipeline finds cuts on its own and says so — the tiles above are labelled with what the camera actually did, and the set-level read is withheld where it cannot be trusted.
Each box is tinted by how much that person moved over the previous two seconds. The scale is published on the panel beside the wall, so a gold box means one specific measured thing rather than an impression.
